"THE1234 Festival It is about stylish bands, stylish fans, stylish sounds and having a great time”- I-D Magazine
Continuing on from the phenomenal success of its first year. The1234 Festival returns for its second outing on Sunday 26th July for 6,000 people. Again bringing with it a whole host of the best new genre defying bands and Dj’s over three stages at its much loved stomping ground of Shoreditch Park nestled in the heart of London’s East End.
As The1234 Shoreditch Festival rolls forth into its second blow up year with its phenomenal new band line up in tow featuring the cream of today’s boundary pushing collectives. Promoter Sean McLusky and The1234 are very proud to announce their second headliner of the festival-Patrick Wolf. Mr Wolf will be bringing his array of infamous fantastical sonic offerings of Celtic folk and eclectic electro glam from his fourth album ‘The Bachelor’ to the plate de jour of The1234. Expect an elaborate and avant-guarde pop laden set bristling with eccentric charm. Patrick has kindly promised that he will also bring along some guaranteed summer Sun with him too and with East End co-horts The Rakes already on board and more unique headliners and special guests to be announced soon, The1234 has much more than just rabbits up its sleeve.
The1234 Shoreditch Festival embraces all the best assets of the East End’s thriving community. The1234 injects new business and creativity in the local area as well as championing the best of the area’s culturally diverse music, nightlife, style, food and local talent. The1234 is a true representation of an event that gives something back to the surrounding community whilst enriching and nurturing the best of the local music scene and talent, pinpointing the area as the pinnacle of the UK’s most avant guarde and leftfield culture, famed the world over.
After the sun goes down on Shoreditch Park The1234 continues onwards into Shoreditch centre as it hosts the festivals ten post parties and after shows at hand picked specially curated venues including Hoxton Bar & Grill, Electricity Showrooms, Bar Music Hall, Queen of Hoxton, Old Blue Last, Catch, Cocomo, The Joiners Arms and Mother all included in the insanely cheap wristband price of £15 and transforms Shoreditch into a pivotal party Mecca for a night of balmy summer mayhem for The1234 revellers with the good times rolling on into the early hours. Entry into all after parties is 18+ and strictly with festival ticket only. Full after-party curators and lines ups and venues will be announced shortly so watch this space!
Come and kick back with mates, see musical creativity at its best, party the night away, see and be seen, without the need for silly fancy dress, steep ticket prices or long queues for bars and toilets. Let yourself be put in the inspiring hands of the world’s best music talent as you get your best Sunday rock on at London’s coolest summer outing by far all in the heart of the most creative diverse area of London.
All this and more for just £15 at the UK’s most forward thinking new music festival.
