James has been blogging since early 2007 whilst studying Sociology in Nottingham.
Upon finishing university he moved to London where he promptly put himself to work in the music industry, taking on roles including artiste management, online marketing, A&R-ing, club night promotion, the UK point of contact for Music2 Management as well as becoming weekly resident DJ for distinguished Marble Arch club Home House and continuing to run his blog on a weekly basis.
On top of this, he also takes the time to write regular articles for 4ortherecord and has done since the very beginning.
