Golden Silvers - Arrows of Eros Single

Golden Silvers

Single- Arrows Of Eros

Released on Young & Lost Club - 14th July

Golden Silvers have been making quite a stir lately after charming the Eavis’s to win the Glastonbury New Talent Competition, supporting the Mystery Jets and attracting the attention of Radio 1 new music pioneers, Huw Stevens and Rob Da Bank.  Not bad for a band who only formed last year!

The North London trio create 80s synth’d up powerpop songs in which the reoccurring theme in the lyrics is love as expressed throughout their alluring 3-part harmonies.  Shunning the usual pre-requisite for any indie-pop band by not having a guitarist, the Golden Silvers are fronted by lead singer and keyboardist Gwilym Gold, with Ben Moorhouse on bass and Alexis Nunez on drums.

Dazed and Confused have described them as making the kind of music that makes you feel better when you’ve got a hangover” and this is demonstrated with debut single, Arrows of Eros, which has all the makings of what should be a huge summer hit.  Released on Young & Lost on July 14th, it fuses substantial bass lines with sharp keys and original melodies, and a hook so contagious it will be inescapable.

NME has them as number 3 in their top 10 bands to watch this summer, Glasto sees them performing 4 times over the course of the weekend, and they feature in all the other main festival line ups this year.

Golden Silvers are special so see them before everyone else cottons on.
