Lord Auch have been dubbed ‘Paranoid Pop’ a combination of fifties Rock n Roll with a healthy dose of euphoric, resonant gloom added for good measure. Taking influence and inspiration from the work of nick cave, The Birthday Party, Johnny Cash and Scott Walker alike. Something wonderfully macabre in landscape and melodic in rhythm and texture began to emerge.
Young and Lost have proved a perfect home for the band and the limited edition singles ‘The Dig Inn/grassfingers’ and ‘Maredo’ selling out to a fanfare critical acclaim.While the band have racked up their impressive list or support slots with the likes of The Dirty Pretty Things, The Cribs, The Duke Spirit, Ipso Facto, Yeasayer and The Gossip; The band’s popularity and self confidence have grown hand in hand, culminating in their n sold out headline shows and festival slots.
